Personality:
He's very strong willed. A self-proclaimed "Ally of Justice", he hates injustice and any kind of prejudice, and lives for helping the underdogs. He can be extremely stubborn when he's decided, and sometimes it can bring problems to people around him, but he's quick to beg for forgiveness once he sees his faults. He is courageous and independent and thinks he can do anything by himself, which most of the time proves to be a lie. He can also be proud and it can be said that this is his downfall. He despises violence, yet uses it a lot to protect the others - since he admits he's not good at all with words. In fact, smart people makes him confused. He can be incredible shy and awkard around women and people he respects/admires (and actually he's kinda awkard with anyone. He'd rather show his appreciation with gestures). He likes the things clear and close to the truth and hates cunning people or elaborated schemes. He can be loyal like a dog once he considers someone a friend or an ally.

Biography:
Minato is the only son of a salaryman and a woman with a fragile mental health. She's at a mental institution since he was around his two years old, when she had a fit of madness and tried to kill herself and the baby. He doesn't remember much of it (actually, quite anything of it), and doesn't blame his mother at all. Instead, he feels sorry for her (and for his old man, who had to raise a child by himself since then). He always lived by himself with his old man, which made him proficient at housekeeping and cooking (though no one would tell it, since he seems way too much like a lazy yankee).
He was a bullied child himself, since he was the son of a "crazy woman" - and a "child without mother". Living in a little and traditional city like the one he spend most of his childhood, the badmouthing was intense, and he withstood many years of emotional (and even physical) abuse until he started to react. He used to pick lots of fights, and the bullying left a deep impression on himself, making him disgusted with any kind of prejudice or stronger ones hurting weaker ones. He didn't wanted to give his old man too much problems, but his temper was intense and fiery, and he was always finding underdogs to protect (or protecting himself), which eventually caused him and his father to change cities, around his 11/12 years. Mr. Himuro found a good company to work and Minato was enrolled in a good school and a karate school to vent out his rage - though he would still fight with bullies from time to time. Old habits die hard.
He's trying to make his old man proud though, and promised that he wouldn't resort to violence at this new school where he was going.
